Client Challenge

The client needed more than bulk LED tube light sticks. They needed the products prepared around a real concert control and distribution workflow.

At the inquiry stage, the client asked whether our RF controller could connect with an MA lighting console through DMX. This was the key technical requirement because the lighting team needed the audience light sticks to follow their existing show-control workflow.

After the project moved forward, the client provided a detailed seating map. The audience area was divided into four sections, with a specific quantity required for each section.

For this type of live event project, mixed packing would create extra pressure onsite. The production team needed the products to be clearly sorted, labeled, and ready for fast distribution before the show.

Zhongda LED prepared the 6,600 RF LED tube light sticks according to the client’s actual seating plan and divided the order into A/B/C/D audience zones.

Each LED tube light stick was labeled with its corresponding zone. Each carton was also marked with the matching A, B, C, or D section code.

This helped the client’s team separate the products quickly after delivery, instead of opening mixed cartons and manually checking quantities before the event.

To reduce onsite preparation time, each tube light stick was prepared with three AAA batteries before shipment, allowing the client to test and use the products shortly after receiving the goods.

DMX / MA Console to RF Control Workflow

The LED tube light sticks were controlled wirelessly by RF, while the RF controller supported the client’s DMX / MA lighting console workflow.

The control flow was:

DMX / MA Lighting Console → RF Controller / Transmitter → RF LED Tube Light Sticks by A/B/C/D Zones

This setup allowed the lighting team to trigger audience lighting effects through their existing console workflow, while the light sticks responded wirelessly across the audience area.
